When you create an account on Chaaiya, we collect your name, email address, and payment details (UPI ID, bank account number, IFSC code). When supporters make a payment, we collect their name, email (optional), and payment information processed securely via Razorpay.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process payments and facilitate payouts to creators
• To display your public creator profile page
• To send transaction notifications and support communications
• To improve our platform and prevent fraud

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your full card details or UPI PIN. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to payment data they process on our behalf.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Razorpay — for payment processing
• Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting and database services
• Law enforcement — when legally required

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and encrypt sensitive data at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at contact@chaaiya.in. Account deletion will remove all your data within 30 days.
